When is the conference?
The event will be the weekend of Friday, February 19, 2021 to Sunday, February 21, 2021. The schedule for the conference can be under the 'Program' tab.
Where is the conference?
The conference will be hosted entirely at the Doubletree by Hilton Orlando at Seaworld, located in Orlando, FL.
What should I bring to the conference?
Pen and paper, business cards and a desire to learn and grow professionally!
What do I wear to the conference?
Please dress in business casual to business formal attire.
What is included in the registration fee?
The registration fee includes the cost of the conference. However, it does not include the accomodations. Attendees are not required to book with the conference hotel, however, it is highly encouraged. If not, please consider the $18 parking fee and $14 wifi fee for non-hotel guest.
How do I book a hotel room with the conference hotel?
The link to book with the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Orlando at Seaworld can be found in the registration tab. It is below the conference registration link. The cost of the hotel room is estimated as $40 per person, per night (calculated with four people per room). Please reach out to us if you need help finding roommates!
When does registration end?
Registration will open on Wednesday, September 2, 2020, and will end on Monday, February 1, 2020.
Who is invited to attend the conference?
Everyone is invited to attend the Sunshine District Conference! We welcome anyone interested in the public relations industry. All students from any college, university, or high school is more than welcome to attend.
What are the COVID-19 guidelines for the conference?
You may find a detailed message from the directors on the 'About' tab. Please be aware that we will be following the CDC guidelines to maintain safety during the conference at all times.
